My first trip to BOVA
« on: March 08, 2011, 01:35:48 PM »
Picked up some Grande 50/50 M/P diced $97.50 / 30lbs,
All Trumps high gluten $25.65 / 50 lbs,
 6 in 1  $6.99 / #10 can,
 Sfogliatelle $53 case (100),
15" square black Sicilian pan $32.15
Veal (breaded) $33.95 / 6lbs

Overall a fun store.  Smaller than I guessed (not counting the huge warehouse).  I can see me going there every 4-6 months or so.

Yep its kinda small,,,but it has everything you needed
Are the Veal 4oz real veal and not Patties?????
I get the real veal..
Many will complain that we are spending too much for our Grande east coast blend,We
are paying what everyone else pays that makes pizza for a living.
Freeze your chesse till you need a bag,a bag will last at least 4-6 weeks...............JT

The veal was the hand sliced variety.  It looks good and doesn't have a ton of breading.  The Mrs. is already asking when we are having veal for dinner.  I baked up some of the sfogliatelle and they were wonderful.

Yeah I go to BOVA weekly.  They charged you $32 for a Sicilian pan? JEEBus. I sell them for around $17
I guess that's why they make money, and I don't   : )

Nice little place. Next time you are there I recommend trying out some of their Rummo pasta. Delicious!

Yeah, you have to keep posting those pics on that OTHER forum that shall be nameless (rule #1?)...

Rule #1.

I hate this format, so I don't post here much. I like browsing through, though.

See you over there --BR.
