Man does not live by bread alone.  There's also tomato, cheese and pepperoni.

Love it!  I use anchovy in my sauce.  I first dissolve it with EVO and garlic, then crushed red pepper, tomatoes, and fresh basil.  This is my basic sauce.  A couple of times I've then dolloped the sauce over the skin, added more fresh garlic, chopped anchovy, and them topped with mooz.  Awesome pie!

anchovies can be a good thing in moderation in my opinion...if you think you can't handle the strong flavor cut back and add just a little you will notice an increase in flavor for your recipe without it tasting fishy etc..... after all most anchovies are salt induced and can only help boost flavor... cut them up next time and sprinkle on top not too much then see! they melt and leave a wonderful taste

I like anchovies alot.  "love" is a strong word.  I haven't had really good anchovies much, i mean the salt cured ones that you soak.  I do use the regular canned anchovies often.  I've found that if you drain them, dry them, and give them a soak in milk for a few hours, they have a much more subtle flavor.
Anyone ever get the anchovy paste in the squeeze "toothpaste" tube?  its good in a pinch.

Yes Bakerboy, I use an anchovy paste instead of canned, for my sauce.  I also use it for my Caesar Salad.  It's flavor is more subtle than canned.  I use it for alot of recipes...it adds depth to say the least

Of course, when my tomatoes are fresh from the garden.  I top them with evo, basil, mozz, anchovy filets, and capers....maybe a pinch of crushed pepper.   Couple that with a chianti. Delicious!
