I bought both the scale and the cord from FG and love it. I broke the cover part that goes over the screen but it didn't bother me. If your tring to get small amounts(0.0) this isn't the scale for you. I mainly use it for flour and water. For smaller amounts(0.00) I use another scale.

I have the scale.  It works great.  I also broke the plastic cover part.  BrickStoneOven is right about measuring small amounts.  I use it for flour, salt and water.

Check out that whisk, it's called a Danish dough whisk and it's one of the handiest tools a dough maker can own. The scale ain't bad either.

We find that sending flour through the USPS is the most cost effective way to send.

Priority, Flat Rate Mail is best.

Our 3-pack (6.6#) and 5-pack (11#) fits in a medium flat rate box for $10.70

Our 8-pack (17.6#) $14.95.

On the west coast, Gail always checks UPS... sometimes it makes more sense to go UPS.

Frankie, I'm new to measuring by "Baker's percentage", your short clip clarified a lot for me, thanks!

It also answered a question I had on a combo scale/measuring cup on another thread, obviously it's not accurate enough for pizza-making.  You'll be seeing an order from me this afternoon.   ;)
