Sunday's pies in my BBQ
« on: March 28, 2011, 01:21:39 PM »
These were made in my BBQ lined with fire-bricks.  I used a 4 day cold ferment.

beautiful pies.  How did they eat Scott?   Are you sure you want a WFO?  Doesn't look like you need one... :P

Beautiful job on those pies. Indistinguishable from ones cooked in a WFO. I am with David on the cherry tomato pie.

Thanks guys! After getting my tax bill yesterday I'm not sure I could afford a wood fired pizza oven.  But the stand is being built for it, so I am going to press on.  I also sensed that my BBQ's rotisserie burner might soon be failing! It kept making a whooshing noise and then the fire would go out.

Dittos on the cherry tomato pie (filetti)....the pizza dude on that rim only adds to that particular pie!  :)

Pizzablogger,

I love that comment about the pizza dude on the rim!  I only get those when I use cake yeast.
