The saga continues...

The flashing that wasn't supposed to ship until the end of next month shipped last night - despite the fact that I cancelled the order yesterday morning after finding the other one. And then there is the chimney cap. Looking at it last night, I saw two manufacturing defects that render it unusable, so I have to get them to send me a new one.

Yay! I'm happy for you! This weekend we were SUPPOSED to build the stand but instead we got over 3 inches of rain so far. Sigh.

That's great Craig.

At first I thought that you had a peel in your hands, then I saw the gas line. How do you like lighting the fire with a torch? Do you use it just to light the wood or do you leave it in there for a little while?

That's my cactus burner - 300,000btu. It lights the wood right up. I didn't leave it in there after the wood was lit. I guess it would heat things up faster...

Thank you. She is sweet isn't she.

No, the legs are part of the oven. They fit up into the base. They are removable. The oven shipped on stubby little legs.

I built a rack up into the rafter to hold the oven tools. It really works well.
