Thanks very much for that info.  I will order up a heat gun and give it at try. 

What do you use for the stand to hold the gun

Since I have access to metal, that was my field before I retired, now semi retired and I work so many days a month for the same company, I got fancy making a heat gun holder, but I got a desk lamp and removed the light bulb socket and inverted the holder and dropped the heat gun in there and mounted it to the breadmachine, If I can fine my pics I will email them to you,

and how do you cool down the beans? 

 As for cooling the beans I put the beans directly from the breadmachine into a colander over a plastic 5 gal bucket with a hole in the side of the bucket connected to a high volume vacuum cleaner motor, I can cool the beans very very quick.
