I'm mostly worried about the crystalline silicate.

They told me (in print and by phone) that the tiles are safe to bake on, are unglazed, contain no lead, contain no VOCs (since they're fired @ 2000 degrees Fahrenheit according to their printed material), and that the silicate was only an issue if I'd be sawing the tiles.

Has anyone been able to find an MSDS or any other information relevant to food safety? Are there any other known risk factors? Everything seems to be good about them, I just want to be sure that I'm not overlooking something.
