Very much a shot in the dark, but I'm hoping one of our fine members would be willing to assist a fellow enthusiast in need.
I'm currently looking very seriously into buying a small (250ish lb) countertop pizza oven. However, the shipping from California from the seller will cost as much as the oven itself would. Too high a price for a fledgling nurse.
I do have a co-worker whose husband will be driving up from cali in a moving truck either in late june or july who is willing to deliver the oven for me, but the seller will be leaving the country on 6-20 and be gone till august I believe.
Do we have anyone near or north of the baldwin park area who would be willing to temporarily house the oven for me for a babysitting fee and a nice case of beer? I would in theory have the oven shipped to the generous users property and then have it picked up by my co-workers husband.
Is anyone feeling generous? Or does anyone have an alternative suggestion for me? I'm very interested in this oven and would love to see it work out for me.
