« on: April 20, 2011, 04:19:19 PM »
Just for info here's an oven available at Williams Sonoma.

http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/fontana-gusto-wood-fired-outdoor-oven/?pkey=e%7Cwood%2Bfired%2Boven%7C2%7Cbest%7C0%7C1%7C24%7C%7C2&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_-NoMerchRules-_-

I think you can buy a lot of bricks for that money.  :D

it's a Chinese company that makes them... we get offers for them all the time.

I saw this thing work at the Pizza Expo in Vegas...  it was "ok"

Interesting. From the catalog, "Made in Italy from stainless steel, steel and cast iron." Perhaps, like a lot of US goods, it is assembled in Italy from Chinese made parts.
A little more info here.

This is their site in Italy.

Doesn't matter much to me where it's made, since I won't be owning one. That's a lot of bucks.

I see what you mean Frankie G. Sure looks like the same design. I have no experience with a WFO, but I have to wonder how well this type of oven works. Certainly not what I'm use to seeing on the forum.
