Here working for the weekend, wonder if there's anyplace worth checking out, either pizza or more traditional Italian.

Thanks,

Larry

Try Pizzeria Ortica for Neapolitan style in a wood fired oven.

Thanks Scott,

Finally got there last week and it was very very good. Neapolitan with all the charing, beautiful pizza, now I know what all the Neapolitan fuss is about, haven't had anything that good before. Heading back today on an early flight so I'll probably end up there for dinner, might have to try the pasta tonight though. The menu has some really interesting items.

Larry,

Glad you liked it.  Say hi to my cousin in law Jennifer Dujan if she is working tonight. She is a waitress there.  Tell her Scott its in Thousand Oaks.  Have a safe trip!

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner, but should you make it back to Irvine...here is my  :pizza: recommendation.  Note the video.

Thank Pizzard,

Been in Irvine every other week so I'll certainly check it out. Sauce on top of the toppings (in the video), interesting.

Thanks, any favorite pizzas or dishes I should try?

Larry
