Hi, my name is Gib and I am a neapolitan pizza fan from the UK. I spent a lot of years eating typical takeaway pizza (more like american pizza pies) but was converted when I visited Florence last year. I have tried to make my own home made neapolitan pizza a few times and have failed due to my lack of skills with dough making and not having access to a oven that gets hot enough.
I have visited a few good quality pizzerias in London but that has meant a 200 mile round trip since there are none more local to me. I have signed up after lurking for a quite a while on this forum in an attempt to pick up the required knowledge to improve my pizza making technique. If all goes to plan, I will be building my own wfo as well to ensure I can make proper neapolitan pizza at home
