I just ordered a 2stone pizza grill. Really looking forward to giving it a try! But, the round stone was on back order so it is on my grill waiting for the final part to go in...........
In the meantime, although the round stone is 15", the opening width is 13.5" So, the size of the pizza is restricted by getting through the opening. It appears that most peels are 12" or 14" wide. And, although I am still looking around, it looks like a 12" peel is where I may land.
Can I make a 13" or so pizza on a 12" peel and get away with it without some "drooping" type of mishap? I figure if I make a 13", it will overlap a 1/2" on each side for only a small part of the circle, so maybe OK. Once I get it on the stone, no problem, since the stone is bigger.
Trying to understand how far I can push it without creating any issues.
