Hello,

My name is Anthony, I live in Elgin, IL. ( 40 miles from Chicago ). I love everything about pizza ( eating and making ). My father was from Italy and most of his side of the family still lives in the town of Ferentino, ( 40 KM southeast of Rome ), Rome and Venice. My last visit to family in Italy 5 years ago, I got the urge to build a woodfired pizza oven in my backyard. After a year+ of research , planning , getting up the nerve to start a project like this that I had never tackled before, along with 2 summers of building, I completed it Labor Day 2010. I love firing this up as often as possible to cook pizzas for family and friends. I'm hoping I can learn alot more from others successes and failures on this forum. I am really interested in a great workable recipe for Pizza Bianca alla Romana. It's one thing that I  crave from my visits to Rome.
