Wow just recreate the post below me.

As everybody else my favorite pizza is the one I grew up on. Scary when you think of the "Domino's generation" that follows us. I grew up on Marrion's pizza in Dayton. I have a deep need to recreate that taste ( dulled by 40 years since I had a slice/square).

I too miss the square pizza of my younger years in Detroit.  Nothing quite compares to the square Pizzas in Yankee states.   Look for the recipes by DKM on this board -- you will find one pretty close.

We just moved from Springfield, MO. to Dallas, TX.
So far so good, nice family owned pizza places have been ok. I just need to get my house sold in Springfield (doh) and into a semi permanent home here. I can not make a good pie in an apartment (sigh).

Any recs on good Pizza in the Frisco/Plano/The Colony area would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone who owns a good pizza place in this area and wants free part time help so I can learn to make better pizza hook me up

If you are building a backyard oven in the area and want free labor same offer.
I love being 50 and retired. Till the boredom sets in.

I don't live in Dallas and don't get up there much, but I follow these guys on Facebook and their pizzas, as well as their other dishes, look FANTASTIC.

Also, check out Campania. I've been there (The West Village location), and although it was a few years ago, it was great when I went. Not sure about now.
