Rutland Fire Brick

I did a search and didn't find anything on these.  I can get them from Ace Hardware and was wondering if they are safe to cook on?

Those are standard food safe firebricks.  You might want to price them at a local brick place (look up brick in the yellow pages) as they'll be quite a bit cheaper.
