Hello to all:

Im Edgar from Puerto Rico. Just bought a Brick Oven form Forno Classico in California. So far Im totally convince thet I made the right purchase. Now, my main issue is finding the right wood. There is a lot of Mahogany here and is working well so far. Any ideas of other hard tropical wood that might work?

Wow, mahogany is a really hard wood, so that should burn great. Seems like it would be expensive for fire wood but you guys probably have a lot of it.  We use a lot of oak here in California.  Post up a picture of your oven when you have a chance.

my mom lives in st thomas....she goes to PR to get away for a break from her hotel job twice a year.
