I finally took delivery of my WFO. It is a Forno Bravo Premio2G100. I should have the custom metal stand within a week, so i could start putting all the pieces together.

We just kind put it together. Some of the blanket it is resting on is sandwiched between the pieces. That sucker weighs a ton!!!!!

Yah, my guys had to move 3 of these domes to the backyard piece by piece, and remove 2 of the domes before FB could get it right.

Glad to see that your first one survive the transport and fits well. Not sure if you've seen this but this was last weeks NP pie. I can't wait to do some more experimenting in the oven. Just a little something you can look forward to. I bet you can't wait to start baking.

Looks great Scott! you will love it ! I am still curious how it all stays on the stand, and what type of finish you are planning on after the insulation? just stucco? Cant wait to see! Congrats!

The pizza oven stand is powder coated and in place in my yard. I did a dry run of laying out the insulation and the floor tiles.

Thanks! The floor tiles seem to be level, it's the insulation panels that are warped and unlevel. I will probably glue them to the stand and then pile a bunch of weight on them to flatten them out.

Scott, how did you physically move the oven to the stand. It looks like it weighs over 500 pounds. How many men to lift it or did you use an engine crane?

I still dont have a grasp on the finished look? Are you planning to insulate then stucco? Hard frame? igloo? octagon birdhouse looks? what are the plans for the front arch brick?

To move the pieces, I used a dolly and rolled them from my garage to the backyard. Then it took four of us to lift them. The front piece is the heaviest. Three guys could have done the other pieces.

John,

My plan is to cover the oven with insulation and then enclose it with steel studs and hardiebacker. After that I am trying to decide. I am probably going to do mosaic tile.

I am planning the first fire next Monday if I could bet it mortared together today.

Mortared the dome pieces together today. That mortar was pretty hard to work with. I did get the hang of it though after awhile!

Scott that floor looks perfectly leveled. Great job. You will have so much fun firing that thing up to temps soon!

I did the first curing fire today. Tried to maintain 300 degrees for about 5 hours. It was not easy, but I think it went well.
