....Maybe I should just put Captain!

I guess buzzing the tower with a load of passengers is kinda frowned upon.
The oven looks very nice.

How about "Crow's Nest"
My guess is that whenever you decide to buzz the tower, it will be your retirement flight...

that is amazing work! your tile work and color choice is excellent. i fell in love with the tile on the oven john posted and your combination was almost identical. your bread look delicious as well as the sandwich with fresh mozz. i like napoli for your name plate.

Ok guys I have given a lot of consideration to the suggestions for the name on the oven, and have decided that I will probably just leave it blank and tile it like the rest of the oven. I think my last name would not look so good plasterd on the front. I noticed looking at pictures on the Forno Bravo website of completed ovens, that almost 100% of the ovens that people have built had nothing written on them. I really did like " I Capitani Forno"
. Thanks for the compliments and suggestions.

Hi Scott,
If you stick with the "oven captain" the translation is "capitano del forno".

Ev,
I like that idea. Would it be the year that it was finished? I built most of it last year.

I don't know, I guess it's up to you but I don't think it really matters, especially several years down the road. I keep meaning to make a plaque out of a scrap piece of copper with my name and 2010 on it, since that's when most of it was done.

I finished the tile today. I decided not to write anything on the front. Grout and sealer to go!
