Tonight's Pizza
« on: August 15, 2011, 11:56:20 PM »
I always enjoy when people post photos of their work, so I can see how I compare with the experts. Honestly, I love seeing everybody's work. We had pizza tonight and I wanted to share some of my photos. These were some of the best pizzas I've ever made, even though some of them were topping combinations I've never tried before. It's nice to see progress happen.

The First Pizza is a Pepperoni Pizza with Homemade Cheese and Sicilian Oregano.

The Next Pizza is a Mortadella Pizza. It's Homemade Mozzarella, Mortadella, Garlic, Oregano, a tiny bit of Red Pepper Flakes, and a Drizzle of Olive Oil. I've never tried this one before, but I loved it. Definitely a Keeper.

The Next One is an Italian Meat Pizza. It has homemade Sauce and Cheese, Mortadella, Proscuitto, Panchetta, and Pepperoni. Everybody Loved This one. One of my new Favorite Pizzas!

The Last One is a Chris Bianco Rosa. It's got Parmigiano-Reggiano, Red Onion, Rosemary, Pistachios, and some Olive Oil.

Overall the pizzas were a hit. Just wanted to share them. Thanks for your time!

Thanks for posting the photo's.  Nice looking pies!

I've got to try Mortadella on a pie sometime. Not sure I can find any decent Mortadella here in Denver.

Thanks for your nice words Parallei. I bet you can find good mortadella in Denver. I was just at the local Grocery Store's Deli and happened to see it there. It was $5.99 a pound. I'm sure it's not the highest quality mortadella ever, but it was really good. I loved it. I'm sure you can find some if you try.

The first picture in the second post looks like a smiley face.  Just saying!
