« on: June 02, 2005, 04:51:50 PM »
Hi, nice place here. thought i would share my dough recipe. i use con-agra full power high gluten flour from my buddies pizza shop whenever i make this.
3 1/4 c flour
1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
3/4 tsp suger
1/2 tsp salt
mix together in your mixer. with a dough hook and the mixer running med low, slowly drizzle in about 1 3/4 c cold water, until a dough begins to form, about 1 min. stop, scrape down the bowl, and return to mixing, until smooth and elastic, roughly 10-12 min. transfer to a oiled bowl, cover and keep somewhere warm till double, about 2 hrs.
enjoy!

I am curious if you made a mistake with your measurements, I still had a 1/4 cup of water left from the said amount and this was way to wet

sorry you had bad luck. I live in a very dry climate so that may have something to do with it. the amount of h20 is always differant depending on humidity. so maybe try starting with a cup and go slowly from there. if you like a drizzle of olive oil can also be incorporated.
