Another Trip to Bova for Grande Chesse today
« on: September 09, 2011, 10:29:18 PM »
It seems that I do give half of my Grande East Coast Blend chesse aways to friends
Butttt it does give me a reason to get out to Bova lol
Grande Cheese have been going up and down in price,,,Last time a 30lb case went for a tad over $100.00
Today it was $90.00 for the same case
2 cases of Ravoli
2 cases of Chicken breaded Cutlets
12 Frozen fresh Mozz ball
A case of 50 Dough balls among a few other items
Cost me a tad over $300 buttttt still worth it,,,Its best to make your own pizza instead of paying
for a over priced pizza...Its been over 3 years since I bought a pizza buttttt I can smile at the money I save and better pizza that I can make...................JT

JT,

I'm sorry but I have to ask...how much cheese do you use for one pie on average? So much that you feel you have to buy a whole case? It seems a lot even though you give half of it away...

Hey are you calling me fat lol (6ft 3in 240lbs lol}
Yep I do give at least 3 bags aways everytime I go its cheap enough to give friends cheese free
I think a 5lb bag will last 3 or so weeks
I make 2 pizza a week a meatball hero and a peperonni roll per week
And when I have friends over I have at least 3 pies
But the chesse does goes fast since I don't have to pay extra as if I was
buying a pizza somewhere local..................................JT

JT,

No, just concerned about your arteries  ;D

All joking aside, I think it's very generous to give away half a case of Grande considering its hefty price tag these days, at least here in California.

 Kudos to you!

My friends enjoy making Pizzas for their friends so I always end up giving half aways.
I could never ask for money since the chesse is not expensive, too
many folks on here they do complain about the high price of Grande,,,Myself
I am not on any budgets lol buttttt I enjoy trying to make that greatttt pizza one
of these days................Thanks for looking out for my health lol...JT
