Big green egg question

My pies aren't puffing around the edges enough - I think that means I should try to get my stone higher inside the egg - which means closer to the roof for the radiant heat... but not sure what kind of material to use to get it up higher.

If you use the forum's advance search feature and search for "plate setter", I think you will find alot of good material to read about folks that have already been down the road your looking to travel.

Thanks - I'll check it out. The red brick shrapnel looks like pepperoni but does not taste like pepperoni so I'll do more searching first :-)
