The pies don't look bad, but they do have the same lack of top heat look in my opinion that little black egg pies have.  And you could probably build 50 eggs for the price one of those ovens....I assume you see where I'm going here.  Unless they are UL and NSF rated and you need that for some reason I don't see where this oven shines.

I hate to sound cocky, but I get way more heat than that out of my cleaning cycle.   Those look very low temp to me compared to keste.

What event was this?  Doesn't Roberto test his equipment before going out on the road? Either Robert didn't do his homework and practice with these ovens before the event or these ovens are garbage, because two of those four pies are an embarrassment. If I had that pale pizza in my hand, I wouldn't be posing for the camera, I'd be begging people not to take pictures. I'd be dropping everything. "Woops, dropped it! Yeesh, I'm so clumsy today!"

Unless you plan to be baking a 100's of pies on the top of a building, you can probably get a lot more oven for your money.

 needed to use a pizza screen to get them to cook properly.put a bid on e bay when they up graded to a new model . thought i could get the old model at a good price. pretty sure the company uped the bid. glad they did.

Why bother Larry?  Your home made portable oven is clearly a much better oven providing more even baking.  And you get to save over $6000.  Just my 2 pennies.

Agreed ! I'll take any of the many LBE pies posted on this forum  over that anyday !
Is he being sponsored by Kalamazoo? arent these the same style  as the other ebay ovens? might have bettter luck with tsomething like this for $5 grand less!

if you search Kalamazoo outdoor gourmet .go to web site ,face book has pictures of  a Washington chefs wedding .roberto cooked for it. you see he used pizza screens to keep the bottom from burning.
