My $75.00 pizza prep table
« on: August 30, 2011, 12:00:15 AM »
I finally figured out a good solution to where i could prep my pizza's when I am out cooking in the WFO.  I picked this garden cart up on sale for 75.00 at a small hardware store.  I used it tonight and it worked out great.  I will do a few modifications to it and it will work perfect for small or large parties.  I also included a picture of one of tonight's pies!

The pie looks stellar.  Any crumb shots ?  I am sure it tasted as great as it looks!   :chef: :pizza:

Very cool!  Much better re-purposing of a potting bench than mine, which I feed my barn cats on  :P  Does it have a dry sink under that cutting board?  It looks like you set it up really nicely, and the pizza is another beauty!

How do you like the metal dough bowls?  I'm thinking of switching from my plastic ones to those.

Both the pizza and the table look great! If you check Craigslist enough, I'm sure you could pick up a marble slab for the top at a reasonable price.

Robyn,

I like the metal dough containers.  They fit better in my fridge.  The only issue I have is that they are a pain to wash.  They big plastic tubs are a lot easier.  I am going to look into the half size proofing boxes that they make now.

Awesome pie Scott. As good or better than anything you would see in even the best restaurants.
