Dough-Joe baking stones?

Does anyone know anything about the "Dough-Joe" baking stones as sold on Amazon and other places?

especially looking for anyone who's used them and can share their experience

Speak of the devil.  I just posted this in another thread.  See "Best pizza stones" in "Stones/tiles, Pans...".  I don't know if they're the best or not but they're the best I've used.

These look a lot like quarry tiles with a huge markup.  3/4" quarry tiles are better than the usual 1/2" and 1/4" that you find, but, you're still talking about extremely low conductivity and long-ish (more than 8 minute) bakes.

Their darker color makes them good candidates for ceilings, but, for hearths, quarry tiles are about the worse stone you can buy- and to charge about 4 times what they should cost, that's disgraceful.

Yeah, Scott, that's what I'm thinking too.

I went with a custom Fibrament stone and I'm glad I did.
