Peak of the pear season. This is the second one. The first one I tried to make pretty, laying out the pears in an overlapping pattern, etc. Total disaster. Took too long; sauce started soaking through the crust. For this one, I quickly spread out the toppings so they were more or less evenly distributed. Not pretty, but ......
