Pickles on pizza?

you know, like pickled cukes.  did a bit of googling and it seems like there are some areas of wisconsin where this is common, but I grew up in minnesota just a 10 minute drive from teh border and have never seen this before.  has anyone else seen this?  can you guys point me towards some establishment that serve this, so i can learn more about it?  I want to try it on my next pie, but would like some ideas first!

If I had the right traveling container, I would carry around pickles and put them on everything I ate. Here are a few pizzas with pickles: one is with hot dogs, and the sicilian is a Big Mac pizza - complete with toasted sesame seeds.
