Why, does he live in India?  (cheap shot... but man I'm sick of all of our tech support going over there... and I mean all kinds of companies, not one in particular).

Don't take this as an insult to India, take it as an insult to US corporations.

Actually I don't think Dell farms their support out overseas, maybe they do on the consumer side.   your point is well taken Snowman, we have changed business relationships because of the overseas support, we can't deal with it.   They read, in poor English I might add, from a script that our engineers have already thought of and dealt with twice over.   I think companies will continue to ship it overseas on the consumer side since any one consumer is relatively powerless, but for commercial accounts I think ultimately companies will demand a higher level of support that can't come from a call center in India....

Corporate Lawyer. But at heart I am still a kid from NY who has always dreamed of opening a pizza joint. I don't know if anyone has had a similar experience, but in my area of Long Island, every town had multiple pizza places and everyone had their favorite. All were New York style. As a teenager I noticed that some of the cutest teenage girls made the local pizza place their hang-out, flirting with the young, mostly Italian, pizza makers. That probably explains why, when my best friend in High School lost his Dad, I made a strong (but unsuccesful) argument that he and I should start our own place. BTW, I have not yet given up the dream of giving up this grind and trading it in for the other.

Sailboat was done in 3D. It's a pretty cool technique, I had alot of fun with it.

I'd love to open a pizzeria, perhaps a pizzeria/brewpub.  It would be pretty easy to do if I only had the money!  ;-)

Wow. That is a great idea. Here in Chicago, some breweries(pubs) have good beer, but bad food. Especially when it's German. A good beer and a good pizza would be a killer combination!

hey guys,
i am a digtal assembler for a large prepress company. my job is to color seperate and trap files for polymer plates and films. we do work for Dorito, Pepsi, Kimberly-Clark and some smaller companies. i used to work in the Adobe illustrator side cleaning up art files, adding marks and sending to assembly. nothing glamorous, but i enjoy it.

 I was curious if you have been to Berghoff's i always thought they served a pretty good pint. They serve a excellent bratwurst among other things. I also would like to mention Piece Pizza in Wicker Park they brew their own beer on site. They usually have 7 on tap at any give time. They make a preety good pizza as well, i believe the owner is from the east coast. You are correct in Beer & Pizza being a killer combination this place draws a good crowd.The place also lets you take home beer in a 64oz container for $12, not Bad.

Yeah, I've been going there for years. Funny though, in my mind it is a German restaurant that brews their own beer(if that makes sense). As a kid, I'd go there for beef and root beer, and now go there for German fare and beer. Most German restaurants always have a decent selection of beer, homemade or not.
I have been working on the south side for about 7 years now, so I gotta get back up north. I miss some of the places (Renalli's, Pat's, Oven grinder,Pequods,etc.) Gotta try Piece Pizza too now!

I am a second carreer chef, starting a Pizza Lounge in Monterrrey Mexico.  My first carreer was manufacturing ceramic and glass table top items for large retailers like Pottery Barn.  If you are ever in there, I made a pattern called "sausalito".  Competition from China was just too great, so I decided to do something else with the kilns, like pizza.
