To anyone who can make it, we are going to meet up in NYC on Thursday 1/5 in the afternoon/evening. Ive traded PMs with several people, and it looks like we might have a pretty good sized group. Anyone is welcome to attend. Im not sure where it will be yet, probably Keste or Paulie Gees or maybe several places. Well finalize the place(s) later. I hope to meet lots of you there!

If you can make it, please reply to this post with what time you can be available on Thursday 1/5 in NYC. If enough of us can be available between lunch and dinner, we might have something very special to do before dinner.

Looking forward to it,
Craig

As an FYI I wont have access to a computer or phone from 12/26 12/31, so if I dont respond to something right away, thats why.

Craig,

Thanks for initiating/organizing this event...your NYC pizza crawl write-up was awesome!  My wife's family is in Greenwich, CT, and this event is the best reason I can think of to schedule a visit  ;D  I have taken off from work till 01/02/12 to ski with the family, and of course, we are sorely lacking snow in NH.  Maybe I will reschedule next week to attend on 01/05/12...

Given your prowess as a hunter, are you familiar with the exclusive/secretive Corbin Park in NH?  I am not a hunter, but Corbin Park is not far from my home, and I am friends with a member--(I have heard some amazing stories about Corbin Park hunting trips).

I'm going to be out hunting with my boys until next Saturday, 12/31. I will have no access to a computer until I get back.  Feel free to work on plans for the dinner. Keste, P'Gee, are great with me - or whatever - I'm just looking forward to meeting as many of ya'll as possible. It's going to be a great night. I hope you can make it!

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and happy new year!

Sorry about the lack of response.  I've been trying to move something around and didn't want to reply until I could give a more definite yes.

At this point, it's looking very good, but I can't give you a 100% yes.

Btw, I hate to be 'that' guy, but I'm feeling a bit tapped out after a few large holiday expenditures.  Is there any way we can approach this a little cost effectively?  What's the typical price for a meal at Keste these days? Anyone here friendly enough with Roberto to negotiate some sort of group rate?

John, if it's okay, I might take you up on the ride, as I'm hoping to trim costs by sharing the gas and tolls. Are you as north as I think you are?  Whole Foods north?  How are you getting in, GWB? Btw, we should be able to park on the street on a Thursday night, right?

Cool Scott !
Not a problem to grab a ride, It  would be great to have some company going in. Yes GW bridge or tunnel depending on where we go. You speaking of Whole Foods Ridgewood? I can do rt 46 , rt 3 rt 80 what evers easiest,  I dont give a hoot, and I got the gas tolls and parking if required anytime!

Too bad I can't make it, sounds like a fun time.  Scott if I was going, I'd take care of your dinner - no problem.

Scotty,

If I wouldn't live on the left coast I'd split the tab with Craig for you. Just go and have a good time, bro!

*sniff* You guys are getting me all choked up.

Seriously, though, I'm not asking for any financial assistance. It's incredibly kind of you to offer, Craig, but I've got this.

OK not to confuse this thread. But just another thought for the West Coasties. A meeting at the Pizza Expo in Vegas! Runs week of 3/12. I really want to go bad this year, and already looking at tickets. This is some show! Now that I am like, 1/2 semi pro? I Do have a business card. Just wanna check it out.   Really not sure, but seems  the focus is heading heavy toward Neapolitan arena there this year, with competing flours, master pizziaolo's, a few mobiles, lots of educational workshops...  this would be another fun Gathering for us serious Pizza Maniacs at PM.Com

Craig,

Steve and I will be joining the fellow pizza making fanatics group in NY.  We are both looking forward to meeting everyone, talking pizza, and eating pizza.  We can be in NY anytime everyone wants to meet-up.  We will be taking the bus to NY from Reading, Pa.

We will be there unless it snows or someone gets ill.

Norma, that's wonderful that you and Steve will be able to attend.  This is shaping up to be quite a shindig. I'm a confirmed yes.

Larry, that's extremely kind of you, but I've got it covered.

Craig should be back from slaughtering defenseless animals his hunting trip tomorrow, so let's ramp up the planning then. Larry, out of all of us, I think you know Roberto the best, so if you did want to give him a heads up and see if he could give us some of his time, that would be really great.

With this many people are we going to need reservations?
