Merry Christmas everybody!!
Today was my first try ever at making pizzas at home. I consider it a big success. We made three Uno's style pizzas using Chris Gatto's how2heroes video as a recipe. http://how2heroes.com/videos/dessert-and-baked-goods/deep-dish-pepperoni-pizza
The dough came out great...we'll invest in a gram scale to try and dial it in. Mutti Italian crushed tomatoes are available at the supermarket here in Thailand. They were reasonable at $2 a can. I'm embarrassed at how much I paid for the mozzarella.
Hope the pics post, I couldn't see them on the preview. We made three pizzas today. The first two were pepperoni and the last one was a Hawaiian for Grandpa's midnight snacks. The crust was just a little crispy, thick and biscuit-like. Most importantly, everybody ate a little too much and seemed to love the results. :pizza:Thanks to Mr Gatto for making the video, and the folks on this site.
