Steve, that's disappointing that you and Norma can't join us. Maybe next time?
John, how about Frank? Frank, were able to find someone to cover for you? If you didn't find someone, how about joining us for part of the tour?
I took a few seconds to jot down a rough itinerary. As I started mapping out times, I noticed that in order to give Amano, Pizza Town and Lodi a comfortable amount of time, this puts us at Vesta a little close to the dinner rush (maybe, not sure if Sun. has a well defined dinner rush). I originally picked 1:00 because I definitely couldn't do 12:30, but I can do 12:45 and I think we can get to Vesta a little earlier if we meet at Amano at 12:45.
12:45 Amano
2:45 Pizza Town
3:30 Lodi Pizza
4:15 Vesta Wood Fired
6:00 Mr. Bruno
If 12:45 is an issue for anyone and we need to stick to 1:00, that's no problem, we can get to Vesta around 4:30.
A vodka sauce on pizza? I have to admit, that sounds pretty darn amazing. I've got to get my head around the juniper berries, though. I've had a few gin and tonics, but I've never had a juniper berry in anything else.
Larry, thanks for the offer on the goodies, but I'm pretty well all set. Speaking of offers... John, Larry, do either of you use 6-in-1s? I bought a 6 lb. 9 oz. can and didn't realize they were unpeeled. I've also got a huge can of San Marzano's (Carrado's private label) that I don't think I'll ever use. Both cans are a solid year old, so if you take them, they need to be used pretty quickly.
Tom, next time, definitely.
