Almost got to review Pizzeria Bianco's

As an airline pilot I get to bid my schedule every month.  I saw a Phoenix layover and thought cool, I could go to Pizzeria Bianco's for dinner, so I bid the trip and got it.  Well after a month of waiting and looking forward to it, I arrive in Phoenix. It turns out my layover is on a Sunday.   I could not believe it.  The place is closed on Sunday!  Oh well I will eventually have to get another trip there on any other day of the week, and then I could give a review of my findings.

Seems strange not to be open on Sunday.  Then again most of the places in downtown were closed except for the ones showing the football game!

In 2007, I travelled all the way from South Africa to taste Chris Bianco's pizza, and he was away for a week to receive some award in New York. His restaurant was closed for the week!!

We went to The Body exhibition instead - stunning! So not all was lost.
