I just found out about pizzamaking.com today. We have made home-made pizza on Friday nights for about 5 years. My husband and I take turns making the dough and we even use home-canned pizza sauce from our garden. We are always on the search for that "perfect recipe." As a result, we've made about 15 or 20 different dough recipes.
The "Pan Pizza" (similar to Pizza Hut) found on this site is awesome! I followed the recipe nearly exactly except for adding about two more tsp. of sugar and it turned out great. It's similar to the Green Mill, Old Chicago and Pizza Hute style crust that comes in a deep dish pan and is "fried" in oil. It was crispy on the bottom just like we had hoped it would be.
I will definitely make this pizza dough recipe again!
