Poured the concrete slab for my oven this weekend so I figured it was time I said hello.
I've been toying around with pizza for a while: modding an old electric oven with firebricks and propane gas, messing with sourdoughs, the usual stuff. Anyway, it was time to upgrade to a wfo, and that's what I'm doing. I'm gonna try to mimic a Stefano Ferrara oven only it will be build outside and will be made of bricks instead of mosaic. Hence: today I poured a round slab. The goal is to vend pizza from my backyard on fridays for friends and neighbors at a ridiculous price. For some reason I like to cook large amounts of food, and that's the way I can satisfy that need.
