WFO Stack Height?

I'm in the process of getting my Mobile WFO up to health code, with a couple bells and whistles added by the guy working on it. He's charging me next to nothin and seems to know more about these things than i do, so i let him make whatever improvements he sees fit. Yesterday, i checked in on the progress and found he had built a smoke stack about 6 ft tall (nearly double the original stack's height) ! It's removable, so it can still fit in the garage or what have you, but it kinda looks ridiculous. He insists that it will help improve performance. Does anyone have any knowledge to prove or disprove this?

If you are having draw problems a higher smoke stack can help. What kind of oven is it?

I don't know much about the kind of oven. I picked it up cheap from a local guy who built it himself, and getting answers out of him is like pissin with your elbow. It's got a  42" inside diameter with a fire brick base. i never measured the mouth or the dome height, but i'll attach a pic.

If you didn't any draw problems before, make the stack whatever is convenient - you can always add another section if you need it.

The smoke stains all over the front says there is a draw problem in my book.  One thing I noticed is the vent cap looks to be nearly sitting on top of the stack in that picture which certainly wouldn't help the draw much.

Mine came with a 2 ft pipe and I asked for 3 foot section, not sure how much it helps with daft but also keeps the smoke away from the serving area. I see some of the FWI units with chimneys that appear too short? I think 6 is overkill and yes will look kinda funny
