A "Slice of Brooklyn" follows Brooklyn-based tour guide Tony Muia as he builds his pizza-tour business.

A preview video. http://www.5min.com/Video/A-Slice-of-Brooklyn-Part-2-517287214

More pizza videos on the their website at the bottom of the page.

This isnít really a Pizzeria review, but I didnít know what board to place it on.  If it needs to be moved that is okay.

Norma;
Grimaldi's aka Patsy's is my all time favorite pizza. Gotta set me recorder to record it so I can see it when I get home (I'm traveling for the next two weeks).

Tom,

It is interesting what your all time favorite pizza place is.  I never knew that before.  What do you really like about Pastyís?  I never tried their pizza before.

Hope you have a nice time traveling for the next two weeks and donít forget to set your recorder.  :)

Other members and I am going on a Brooklyn pizza tour next Friday.  I sure am excited about that!

Norma;
I like the flavor of the crust as well as the chewiness, and we can't overlook the fresh basil.
I do a lot of work for a baking company, Damascus Bakery just down the street from there on Gold Street.
Enjoy looking at the pictures of their famous customers on the wall while you're there.
Then, you will be able to fully appreciate the fact that you are eating a piece of New York history. There is a pretty nice restaurant over in Battery Park too. I consider New York City the Mecca of both pizza and restaurants. It's just a great food city, I hope you enjoy your visit!

Tom,

Thanks for telling me that you like the flavor of the crust as well as the chewiness of Patsyís pizza.  I also like fresh basil.  We arenít going to Patsy's on this trip but sometime I will have to try Patsyís.  Thanks also for telling me about the Damascus Bakery that you do a lot of work for.  I enjoy any history about pizza and know NY is the mecca for pizza and restaurants.

Thanks for saying you hope I enjoy my visit.  :) I know since all the other members are going also, there will be lots of talks about all kinds of pizza.  There are so many pizza businesses I havenít tried in NY.  Some of the members and I are only doing a day trip to NY so my time is limited in what I can eat.

Norma,

I tried watching the show and couldn't stand it. I gave it my best for over 15 minutes probably, no way I can watch the second episode.
