Was in the small town of Delmont outside of Pittburgh and came across this wonderful pizzaria named Ianni's. Two wood fired ovens bake the menu of sixteen pizzas. The menu also includes one italian hoagie and house salad. The pizza is the highlight of the small but on point menu. We orderd the pizza Margherita - the 16" pie was great, a thin crust with a slightly charred raised edge, had just the right crunch, and a soft interior. The toppings of plum tomato, cheese and basil were fresh and balanced. The rest of the menu includes such pizzas as the Blue (Gorgonzola onions and spinach) the Popeye (spinach almonds and garlic vinaigrette) the Rocket (arugula and almonds) as well as 12 or so other pizzas. The decor is slightly upscale but not the least bit stuffy . You can bring your own wine or choose from a nice selection of bottled beer on hand. The smell of the wood fired ovens and pizza are alone worth the trip .
