I use a KitchenAidŽ stand mixer for making dough. I do find that while kneading the dough in the mixer that the unit will "walk" on the counter. At times it will move a bit too close to the edge for comfort. In fact, many years ago I did have one walk off the counter and crash to the floor.
My solution to this problem is to simply set the mixer on the floor during the kneading process. Then, if it does walk, it can't fall to the floor since it is already there.
Just wondering if I am the only one with this problem and, if not, what other solutions have people found?
