I loved UPN on my first and only visit there three years ago, and I love marinara pies (plain pies to those of you out there from the great state of CT). However, if I'm going to pay $20 for a 12" pie, it better have some buffala (or some premium, imported Italian cold cuts) on it. That's just my two cents.

To that end, if you look at the picture it's hard to tell there is even any salami on it. I don't think I would have notice if not told.

Not saying I wouldbe the first to plop it down but a twenty? probably for stream line purposes no tax no change perefect. what were his prices like in NY anyone remember?

I definitely remember a price increase at the NYC UPN right at the end of his run there.  Im pretty sure he had raised his prices to $22 or $23.

Yes, I ate there just before he moved. I forget the price, but it was over $20.

That's crazy. Well it goes to show that if someone is making something really good people are willing to pay.

I was actually quite happy to pay it after having  a bunch of "fakapolitans" in other spots.   Things are way better in the new york area these days, thats for sure.
