It's 1am, you've got a couple 6-packs, tell me this thing doesn't go down just fine...

I'm telling you it won't

At 1am with a couple of six packs (I'm assuming largely consumed by that point), it's time to raid the kitchen and see what kind of mess you can whip up with whatever is in the cabinets while you turn the volume on the stereo up a tad too loud!

My assumption was that its 1am and I'm sitting there with the beer and pizza-hotdog abomination right in front of me. No matter how much I might like to say I wouldn't eat it. I can tell you with absolute certainty that I would. I might share some with the dog, however...

Jokes aside, this does go to show how prevalent the view that pizza is an American dish really is around the globe.  Living in America we sometimes forget that pizza is considered American just as much as it is considered Italian.

Delivery pizza is probably considered slightly more American only because of some American chains having locations outside the U.S., but pizza in general is not thought of as an American food. This pizza crust with hot dogs has been around in other places for at least 20 years.

I must disagree with you about whether pizza is thought of as an American thing.  Italians claim to have invented it.  Greeks say they did it first.  But regardless of who gets credited with coming up with pizza, America made it popular.

Of course, much of that has to do with the proliferation of chains......

If I had the motivation to walk after a full six, I'd be dragging myself to the refridgerator to get some mustard and relish. . . . . I wonder if this will make it to the states?

I drank 12 last night with a pair of El Cubanos. I could have eaten one without even looking up.

How that looks absolutely horrible. There is no way to revive that pie to life, unlike the hotdog one as someone mentioned by stuffing it with some good italian sausage instead of pink slime. At least that's my opinion. I actually want to stuff a crust of a pie with sausage now soon.....
More is better..... and too much is just right.

The Chinese made the first pizza.

It's 1am, you've got a couple 6-packs, tell me this thing doesn't go down just fine...

After a couple of six packs you get Krystals not pizza.
