I'm back after five years.

Hello all. About six years ago I decided I wanted to start making my own pizza. I read everything I could on this forum, got myself a Fibrament stone and an Electrolux mixer and began testing recipes. I really enjoyed the learning process and tasting the results. Then life got a little hectic and everything went into the closet. Well recently I decided I was tired of inconsistent store bought pizza and that it was time to get baking again. I refereshed my memory by rereading the forum. I bought a block of Grande from PennMac and ordered a new Fibrament stone as the old one has gotten plenty of use crisping up the store bought and has a crack in it. This weekend the mixers coming out of retirement.
It's good to be back.

Welcome back Scott. I've taken breaks from time to to as things got busier for me, so I know what you mean. If you have more time now, good for you. I hope you will post the results of some of your pizzas.
