I am getting a Weber Performer for a good deal and was going to convert it into a wood fired oven. I have been looking into franken-weber options, insulating kettle pizza, pizza stone floor and kiln shelf ceiling. There are so many ways to go and I am looking for the simplest and cheapest way to get that sucker up to 800 degrees floor and oven temp.
I think what would really be helpful would be if everyone that has converted a Weber Performer could post a picture of their design that I could get some ideas from.
I understand there have been tons of posts like this before and I will keep looking and reading. What I really want to see are your pictures.
