This could be a stroke of genius I had, or just a stroke. Has anyone thought about or actually done this. I'm not sure what a replacement egg lid costs, but it sure would take a lot of work out of molding refractory cement into a weber lid.
My idea is to fit an egg lid onto a kettle pizza fitting over a weber kettle. Unless the lid is $500.
Thoughts?
