Scott D's Wood Fired Oven
« on: May 12, 2012, 03:40:41 PM »
Well, after almost a year I finally finished my oven.  I wish I could have had it built it in, but my yard was not big enough to do that and meet the building codes.  So here it is my 2000 pound portable  WFO!

Wow...Gorgeous...It makes me think that Craig should tile his garage oven...
But I do understand Craig's frame of mind to leave her like she is....

Can't wait to see pictures of some finished product coming out of that beauty...

If I had a restaurant, I'd buy it, if I had $15,000.  It's gorgeous.
I'd rather eat one good meal a day than 3 squares of garbage.

Thanks everybody.  I couldn't have done it without you all and this website!

RJelli,

Here are some pictures of my second bake, before the oven was finished.

Great, great pies! You have to be super proud...

As I read your previous thread with the pictures, I am always amazed how the target of preparing a pizza moves...We are a group who likes to strive to make it even better!

A work of art that produces edible art.  It doesn't get any better than that!

AgPie,

Here is a drawing with dimensions.  They are pretty accurate, but there  probably was a few changes with the design.  The oven is a Forno Bravo premio1002G.  It has a 40 inch interior.  It is basically a 60 inch diameter octagon.

Thanks John,

I think it is going to take a crane to get it out of my yard!
