I found a couple of 1 kg red bags for $3.25 each at Alimento at 522 King St W.  Unfortunately, that was all they had, but presumably, they'll be getting more in. (Also a couple of San Marzano tomato brands: Strianese and Borrelli.)

There used to be a web site, but I can't find it anymore for Caputo distributor in Toronto...

I bought 25 kg bag from a bakery nearby. It's too much for me.
If anyone needs any - let me know. I am in Maple, ON.

Please let us know that you think of the tomatoes when you try them, those are a couple I can't find where I live.

Both were excellent, and I particularly liked the Borelli tomatoes. I have since tried 6 or 7 brands of San Marzanos, with surprising variance in quality. I have found every time I find a cheaper can, say under four dollars, it is worse than standard Roma tomatoes.

What is your preferred brand?
