Wolfgang Puck's new pizza venture

It appears that Peter Reinhart has a little competition heading his way in Charlotte, N.C. Wolfgang Puck has  now jumped on the celebrity chef pizza bandwagon, and is preparing to open his new restaurant, Pizza Bar, in Charlotte as well.

While I'm no fan of Reinhart, I think it's pretty safe to assume that his pizza will be very different from Pucks, and, for those that are knowledgeable, be the superior offering.  Puck will most likely put out something Batali-ish, while Reinhart will actually be the real deal.

I thought Spago's was the birth place of open kitchens, and California style pizza.
