 thanks for the comments. this is actually the end of our first year of doing the mobile oven.we are working on our web site to get it to where we want it. the newspaper article got us two jobs since friday.last night we did a 300 person graduation party and it was a very big job. the amount of prep needed and the transportation was a nightmare. but, was it fun!!!
 if you read the article i have been at this a long time,but this forum is my favorite place to visit. my theory is that if i look at what i do based on people that make pizza because it is their passion. i will put out a better product at the commercial level.
 we have been fortunate that with all of the pizza chains that we have in our town we do not have to fight them on price.so i am able to use the same top quality products that this forum uses and i thing i have a better product for it. oh,and i have meet some awesome people on this forum,both in person and thru the web.

Well that was a treat! We just visited Larry and his mobile WFO at Matus Winery in Wakeman Ohio. There really isn't much as far as decent Neapolitan pizza in our neck of the woods, so this was awesome for us.

The pies were great, the wine was good, and we had a great time. I took a few pictures but they weren't very good because it was just a crappy cell phone camera.

Thanks Larry! I wish I had more time to talk. We will definitely be visiting Lorenzo's soon.

 don, that was so cool to meet a forum member. i read your posts and didn't know you only live 20 minutes from me. you need to contact me.thanks for the write up. matus was a challenge last night cooking in the rain ads to the fun of keeping up on orders. we were backed up to 30 minutes on some orders.sold out with 95 pies. i am going to have to see if my mixer can handle 100 plus batches of dough.

Even with the bad pics, the pies look great. Larry makes beautiful Margherita pies doesn't he! And a great guy too.

Yes the Margheritas were awesome. The pictures definitely don't do them justice. We initially ordered a Margherita and a Pepperoni. I had a piece of each and the next time I looked, both pies were gone because the kids loved them so much and were eating faster than I was. We ended up ordering another Margherita because one piece was definitely not enough for me.

It was nice to meet another forum member in person. Indeed, Larry does seem to be a great guy. I can't wait for the next time we can get together again.
