I can't remember if I ever posted with this account - it's been a while.  I don't see any, so I presume not.  I may have had another login before, but lost track of it.  I'm not worried about any of it.  I just logged in so I could search - though, that didn't work anyway.  First I got an error message, now I get "Your search query didn't return any matches." when searching for mfb from within the forum.  The search on the homepage does show results for mfb.

I am not sure what is going on with your account. Five years ago, new members were not required to enter an introductory post if they did not want to do it. Now, new members are required to do so. I do not know if Steve purges inactive accounts or whether it happens automatically after a certain period of inactivity. By inactivity, I mean not making an appearance on the forum from time to time. We have one member who has been a member since 2003 and has never entered even a single post. But she checks in from time to time, and her account is still active as a result.

I also doubt that posts of inactive members are deleted. That would destroy the integrity of threads.

As for your search for MFB (which I believe is a Wesson shortening), the forum's search function has been having problems with brief acronyms or abbreviations standing alone. You should add more words to your search string. If you use the Google search function at the bottom of the index page, you will get several hits for MFB. Hopefully, the search problem will be resolved once Steve gets around to upgrading the forum.
