Hello from the Mississippi Gulf Coast

Hi -

I am from New Orleans (great food) but now live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (not so great food). We live in a small town and it takes over an hour to get to New Orleans where I can get some of my favorite pizza. All we have here are Pizza Hut and Dominos. (Very not so great!) I have to make my own pizzas for my family and I have just stumbled across this forum and boy am I glad.

I need help making New York style pizza. Can't wait to try some of the tips and recipes y'all have here.

Welcome! My family is from Gulfport and Biloxi.  Unfortunately, Gino's pizza where I worked in high school is closed.  To my limited knowledge there is not much in the way of pizza in the the area anymore.  Other foods leave nothing to be desired, even the poboy's are better on the coast.
