East Coast Transplant

Hello everyone,

My name is Pat and I currently live in southern California. I'm originally from the Washington, D.C. area and first got addicted to pizza as a little kid in the early '70s. By high school my friends used to joke that I must have pizza sauce in my veins instead of blood. Still looking (probably in vain)for the perfect east coast pizza here in Cali but for now I have to settle for the occasional 4 hour trip to Vegas for Grimaldi's.  ;D

Welcome to the forum, Pat.

How far south are you?  Luigi's (San Diego) is pretty good.

With the right equipment and some dedication, you should be able to produce a pizza that puts Grimaldi's to shame.
